Our story begins in our family home in England, just like any other. With three kids—two teenagers, one under ten—and two parents, our evenings are often a mix of homework, laughter, and a bit of friendly competition. We've always been a family of casual gamers, drawn to puzzles, word searches, and brain teasers.
However, we noticed a gap. Many games were either too difficult, too simple, or just not right for a family to play together. We wanted games that were both fun and rewarding, something that could be a friendly activity for a wide range of ages and skill levels. We believed that playing games could be a way to learn new things and keep our minds sharp without it feeling like a chore.
And so, Good Pumpkin was born.
It started as a simple idea: what if we created our own games? As a family of five, we decided to put our heads together. We all have a say in every game we make. An idea from a teenager might lead to a new challenge, while feedback from our youngest helps us make sure the game is accessible and fun for everyone. Every game you play from Good Pumpkin is a product of our family's unique, real-world testing process. We reuse concepts from classic family games such as wordsearch, crosswords, maths puzzles and so on. Our games are then designed, tested, and refined by us, for you.
We make games because we want to share the joy of friendly competition and the satisfaction of learning something new. Our goal is to create fresh, family-friendly gaming experiences that you can enjoy together, no matter the age.
